Section 2, Scams as Financial Abuse was updated in March 2026 to reflect that Report Fraud has replaced Action Fraud as the national platform for reporting fraud and cybercrime.

In March 2026, this new chapter was added to the Safeguarding Adults Practice Guidance section.

In March 2026, this chapter was updated to reflect the change in terminology from Domestic Homicide Reviews to Domestic Abuse Related Death Reviews, and all references were updated.

Section 1, What is Sexual Exploitation? was updated in March 2026 to reference that The Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO), was replaced by the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC).
